Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day, Tyler! Our family loves you so much and couldn't live without you! Thanks for working so hard to make us so happy. We love you!

Tyler got a bag of popcorn at church for Father's Day, the kids took over the bowl immediately and wanted to eat it outside on the steps (which I actually preferred). Little oinkers!

A few faves

One of my ultimate faves, only because this is a daily ritual. Damon sitting in timeout, of course blows it way out of proportion, Andee sitting by him wondering "Why the heck is he so upset, I'm the one that just got hit!" It's so funny to me that she always sits by him when he's in timeout.

Isn't she just adorable?

Damon wanted Andee to sleep by him....big mistake. After about a half hour of them just laying there talking (which was so precious) and Damon playing with Andee's hair, I had to break it up (9:00 pm). Andee was so upset, Damon was kind of relieved cuz he went to sleep right after that.

Weekend at Manila Farm

This weekend we visited the May family and headed out to the farm for the day, we had lots of fun snapping pics, so beware of the picture overload on this post. I couldn't decide which pictures to post or not, so you get them all!

Grandma May

Hanging out in front of the cabin.

Aunt Alisha

Uncle Scott and Aunt April

Always gotta have a cowboy hat handy!

Here is Damon and Hallie helping Grandpa and Tyler. Tyler had a sweet chain saw and was cutting up a tree, Grandpa May was loading them up into the wheelbarrow...with a little help from Damon and Hallie.

Decided they were working too hard and needed a little break.

After a long day, everyone was wiped out and the kids sat/layed down to watch Bolt.

Our home

As promised, some pics of our house...

Damon's new favorite past time. He loves that scooter, he's getting pretty good at it. The other day some older boys (probably 15) were riding around on their skateboards and Damon was trying to follow them around the cul de sac...anyways, the big boys were all leaving our little area and riding out on their skateboards and Damon was trying to follow them, he was going as fast as them keeping up with them and then he hit our little "turn around spot" (the point in which he's not allowed to go any farther), he was so disappointed that he had to turn around and miss out on all the fun. But watching him trying to keep up with those boys was the cutest thing I've ever seen him do. His little face was so full of determination and he was so proud of himself for going so fast. "Did you see how fast my are?" He said.

Ready to Pop?.......Really?

Yesterday I went to the gym to workout and a guy came up to me and said, "looks like you're about ready to pop!" Wow, I thought to myself, what a retard. I could've have made him feel really stupid, but I smiled politely and said, "I'm getting there" and walked off. I don't know why it bugged me so bad, but it did. So when I got home I said something to Tyler about it and he said, well you are aren't you? I swear men don't think before they open their mouths sometimes. I gave Tyler this look and he said, "no, no, no, your not fat, your belly is just getting bigger." Gee, thanks! Thanks to this story you'll get a quick look at my ever growing belly....30 weeks!

Our new car

Well, it's official, I've become a part of the Mormon Mom Club. I now drive a mini van. Thanks Tyler for finding it for me, now we can drive three kids around in one car. I've been carless this whole week. Tyler has had to drive to Salt Lake everyday for clinicals and I haven't had a car, but now....I'm going to be cruisin!

Our new home!

Here is the one picture I've taken at our house, it's been too crazy to think about taking pictures until about now. But, we bought Damon a bike and it's awesome because I don't have to worry about him riding it in the road because we live in this little culdesac, but after getting comfortable on his bike he decided to venture off when I wasn't looking. And just outside our little circle is down hill which he headed down. I started chasing after him (which probably looked hilarious with my big belly) and he was smart enough to turn into someone's driveway, but ended that with a big crash. So, he's been a little hesitant since then to get on his bike. Maybe when his wounds heal, he'll forget about the crash. It's so nice having the freedom to go outside and not worry about the kids too much. I swear it's just what we needed. It's been a cure for the trouble Damon got into in Oakland, shut up in an apartment building most the day. He's a different kid and loves having the freedom to go outside and play.

Poor Damon didn't get much of a b-day this year, because it landed on the day we flew out, so at our little good bye party I brought some cake and we sang happy b-day to him, and his nice friends even brought him some presents. He's going to miss his friends so much...misses his friends so much.

I put my brother J.C. to some good use while he was staying with us, gave him all the dirty work. Try not to notice how dirty the oven is....didn't clean it once when we lived there! EEEEWWW, how disgusting is that? Thanks JC!

Quick Update

Life has been so hectic trying to move. We are moving to Salt Lake today and have had the craziest time. Last night we had a bunch of help to load up our u-haul only to find out that it wasn't big enough, so we loaded the extra stuff into the garage and finally figured out that we would rent a trailer to pull behind it. So all day today, Tyler was at different U-hauls trying to find a trailer. Finally we found one in Alameda and finally got the ball rolling about 1:00 this afternoon. Talk about stress! So, it's about 3:00 pm and Tyler still hasn't gotten on the road. Not the plan at all!!! Plan was to be out by 8 or 9 this morning! Oh well, at least we're finally on our way. And at least I get to fly in tomorrow with the kids after everything has been unpacked:) When I have time, I'll post some pics of our new house.

24 week belly

Okay, so I'm not super excited about getting huge, but my parents and brothers keep asking about how big I am and how fat I'm getting, and since my parents are heading to Europe for 3 weeks this week, I thought I'd be nice and let them see "the belly". Enjoy, cuz I probably won't post another picture of me if I can help it.

Hot days in Oakland

Last week it was super super hot (like high 80's/90's), and I took full advantage and every morning we headed out for picnics/parks/walks/and the lake. Damon loves chasing ducks at the park so I thought I should get pictures of that before we move. I hope the weather stays nice, because I love, love, love being outside and so do the kids.

I love this picture. We we're so wiped out from running around chasing ducks that Andee just plopped on the couch and pulled this pose.

Easter Sunday

The easter bunny visited our house this morning! He layed out a bunch of candy (not like we needed it) and a toy for Damon and Andee. Damon, of course, went nuts picking up all the candy and Andee was again satisfied with her one piece. They both loved their toys and played with them all morning (that rarely happens), usually it's a toy for a while and then picking on each other running around. Guess we picked the right toys this time! Church was crazy, we had a lot of visitors and ended up having 15 kids in the nursery today!!! (glad we'll be moving soon, so that calling will be finished).

Easter Egg Hunt

We had an Easter egg party at the church on Saturday...I of course forgot our camera, luckily my friend took a few pictures for us. We first played a few Easter games and then headed out for the egg hunt. Damon loved it. He was so excited about the eggs making sure he fit as many as he could into his basket. Andee was satisfied with finding her one egg. Didn't want to put it in her basket. Eventually Tyler got her calmed down enough to look for some other eggs and put them in her basket. After the egg hunt we went to empty all the eggs and give them back so they could use them next year. I kind of let Damon go at his candy for about 10 minutes when I looked over and realized he had already eaten half of it! I had to intervene at that point. Too much sugar for him and Andee and their friend Izzie. They were running around the stage sreaming at the top of their lungs, I didn't care as long as he got out his sugar buzz before we got home. Apparently it worked, cuz both kids crashed when we got home. What a fun party.
