Happy B-day Tyler

Last night was Ty's b-day. He ditched class early to come home, we went to Round Table and got 3 FREE personal pizza's (thanks to Jeremy and Janelle cuz of the A's tickets) hung out at the park, had cake and ice cream. Nothing too exciting, but at least we got to be with Tyler. We don't see much of him these days. I won't tell you how old he is, cuz I don't know if he'd appreciate that, but the candles on the cake are the right amount if you feel like counting. Happy B-day Ty, I love you! You are the most wonderful, perfect man any wife/kids could ask for.

Life is so much fun!

One on One

Tyler got home really early from clinicals today, so I knew I had to take advantage. One, because I finally had the car. Two, because I had a babysitter for Andee and I could spend some special time with Damon where I wasn't nagging at him to leave Andee alone. So we packed up our buckets and shovels and sunscreen (because we are stinkin white and never get to see the sun) and headed off to the beach. We played in the water, built sand castles, fed the birds our sandwiches and cookies and buried Damon in the sand. It was fun to be alone with Damon again (haven't been able to do that for a while). It reminded me what a sweetie he can be.

Andee started crawling today. I think it is so stinkin cute, but at the same time "I can't believe she's crawling already!" That came way too fast, 8 months flew by! What a sweetie pie.

Vacation Time in Bear Lake

After we spent time with the Fergies we drove to Bear Lake and spent a week with Tyler's family. It was actually quite special because everyone made it down there at some point or another. We had a blast. There were lots of cousins Damon's age, swimming, boating, water skiing, and tons of good food thanks to Tyler's mom. Again, my camera spent most the time in my suitcase (I never think about it until it's too late), but I took a few pictures here and there.

vacation time - Rexburg, ID

Finally! A vacation with Tyler. After Tyler took boards we decided we couldn't stand another day here so we planned a last minute trip home. We spent a couple of days with my parents. We got to see my mom graduate which was cool, went running and saw quite a few old friends from high school, which was so fun! I love going home!

Never say never

When I was younger, there were a few things I swore I would never let my kids do...

1. wear socks with sandals

2. wear long sleeved shirts with shorts

3. wear cut off jeans

What a silly thing to say...cuz honestly, does it look that bad?

Damon, at 6 months, used to talk so loud that he would make his cousin Hallie cry. Andee Squeaks.

Half Marathon

So some podiatry students in our ward are running a half marathon and it sparked my interest. I've always wanted to run halfs/marathons, so I committed. I'm pretty sure I got Tyler committed, too, believe or not. Anyway, I called my dad to ask him for advice since he's ran a couple of marathons, come to find out him and my mom are also training for a half. I am trying to convince them to run the one here in Cali. Who are all these crazy people? Wish us luck!

Bed Head

Andee has the worst bed head everytime she wakes up in the morning and from naps. She also gets puffy eyes, which is a great combination with the crazy hair!

A big thank-you to Marielle Hayes who took our family pictures. It was a big job considering Damon would not look at the camera and Andee was crying most the time. Our pictures turned out great. I recommend everyone get their pictures taken from Marielle. She did such a wonderful job.

Andee can sit all by herself now. We really don't have to worry too much about her when she is alone sitting. Yea!
